Last December 12, 2023, the Center for Leaders (CFL) together with the rest of Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc.’s Social Well-Being Cluster programs, held an outreach program for around 300 elementary school students of Cansomoroy, and Lingatong, Balamban, Cebu. 

Unlike the regular run where the CFL team visits the schools, it was the first outreach where the kids were invited to Kool Adventure Camp (KAC). The purpose was to provide the neighboring students, teachers, and some parents a chance to see and experience the facility. 

The children upon arriving KAC, were given a quick break before being warmly greeted and welcomed by the SWB cluster team. Children were then divided into grade-level breakout sessions where they participated in some getting-to-know-you activities and storytelling about the “Akong Bugsay”. 

Toward the end of the sessions, the children received their Christmas bags, which included school supplies, hygiene kits, toys, and goodies. Majority of the bags were provided by the RAFI Dolores Aboitiz Children’s Fund. 

The program ended with a community singing and words of gratitude from the CFL team, as well as from the school advisers.
